As a Quality Assurance Engineer joining our data strategy team, you’ll be playing a key role in establishing and integrating a new testing function into the team. You will work closely with developers to ensure that our data platform remains consistent and accurate as we improve our data systems and services' scalability and availability.

• Using your experience and expertise to help design and build a data testing methodology.
• Being responsible for the end-to-end testing process of software applications.
• Being part of a small, dynamic, and agile team that pushes you to learn the latest technologies and grow as a QA engineer.
• Working alongside developers to build reliable, highly performant, and available data systems.
• Crafting/ Executing automated testing for data and applications based on a Service Oriented Architecture.
• Performing functional and integration testing (automated and manual) of application software.

• 3+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer in IT projects.
• 2+ years of building/maintaining relational DBs(MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
• 1+ years of building/maintaining non relational DBs (MongoDb, Hbase, etc.).
• 2+ years of testing database applications for data accuracy/integrity.(overall working with DB) SQL/NOSQL
• 2+ years of experience with Automation Testing tools like Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, etc.(willingness to work with automation tools)
• Working experience in projects that involved HTTP, JSON (or XML), and REST (or SOAP).
• working experience in Testing with Java-based applications using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills that will help you in solving problems and analyzing requirements.
• Proven experience in various software and data testing methodologies that will enable you to craft and build automated test environments.
• Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum).

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g. Guice, Spring)
• Testing highly available and scalable SaaS applications.
• Experience in projects that included Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Gradle, GitLab, GitHub, etc.

• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
