As part of the User Experience team you’ll work alongside designers and engineers to achieve two basic goals:
Achieving these goals requires effective and close collaboration with UX designers and software engineers, and coordination with Product Marketing to ensure consistency of message and tone. You’ll get to work with teams across the company and around the world, and drive all aspects of the content lifecycle—from concept to production.
A key responsibility is managing the content on our publicly facing documentation site, www.openmarket.com/docs.
We use Madcap Flare to author and publish all the content on this site. You’ll be responsible for keeping it up to date and accurate, and adding new content in parallel with product releases. You’ll be involved in the product design process and contribute to in-application content such as tips, online help, user feedback messages, etc.
Familiarity with mobile messaging technologies like SMS and MMS
An academic degree or certificate in Technical Communications or Technical Writing is preferred but not required.
Candidates will need to work remotely during the current COVID-19 situation and be comfortable interacting with colleagues via Zoom, Slack, email, etc.
