The world’s biggest brands seek us out because we love finding ways to help them make their customers’ lives easier. It’s this obsession with customer experience that helps us develop software, technology and processes that competitors all over the world desire.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, collaborative and resourceful people from a range of backgrounds who know how to get things done. Success comes from our culture, diversity and dynamic global team so we value people who are authentic, take ownership, and deliver together. Does this sound like you?

About the Role

As a key member of the OpenMarket Product Management team, you will act as a visionary for how OpenMarket should build out its global messaging capabilities and differentiate its offer from the competition. You are the driving force behind growing OpenMarket’s messaging capabilities globally, crafting a vision for the product, understanding competitors, defining market and customer requirements, capabilities and service performance, pricing strategy and tools, sales support, and go-to-market plan.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop a comprehensive product plan to support the product vision by incorporating customer requirements, defining the competitive arena, and establishing the objectives, strategies, and actions required to achieve business goals.

  • Develop relationships with strategic customers and technology partners to continually understand and develop market requirements and competitive risks and opportunities.
  • Work cross collaboratively to develop a Global Country Resource, to include country-specific regulatory guidelines and standard methodologies.
  • Own the customer experience for the global messaging product – from pre-sales, to onboarding to ongoing support.
  • Maintain Global SMS product contracts and partner with legal on updates, SLAs and other related items.

What to Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience as a Product Manager delivering software, SaaS, mobile services and/or high-tech products.

  • Knowledge of global and supplier carriers and experience with mobile messaging, preferably at a global SMS aggregator or mobile operator.
  • Knowledge of multi and cross channel enablement of SaaS platform solution technical requirements.
  • Experience leading, informing and directing engineering leaders and partners on cloud, messaging and API architecture and strategies.
  • Background in expanding service reach and connectivity to new countries or regions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in carrier class networking messaging protocols, systems and requirements.
  • Experience with emerging mobile messaging services and business models.
  • Experience with platform infrastructure requirements including cloud-based enablement and microservices.

Education/Training

You'll Be a Great Fit If
